Celsia produces and markets copper-tungsten (WCu) bars for die-sinking EDM, which, thanks to the combination resulting from the wear resistance of tungsten and the conductivity of copper, is an excellent alternative to copper alloys and graphite. The bars are mainly used to erode hard materials (such as hard metal) or maintain the geometric tolerances of an electrode during processing. Without it, an electrode would wear much more easily and quickly while in contact with other materials.
Celsia has a wide range of standard rectangular, round, and square bars ready for delivery but can also produce bespoke products with varying sizes upon customer request.
