Great adhesion to the project: „Scuola Futuro Vco“, proposed by the Young Entrepreneures Group of the Industrial Union with the aim of increasing synergy between the world of education and that of business.
During the month of May, middle school students of Villadossola, Vanzone and Pieve Vergonte visited five Verbano Cusio Ossola companies, which relate to the most diverse areas and application sectors:
- Lagostina of Omegna
- Tecnolab of Lago Maggiore
- Travi e profilati of Pallanzeno
- OMCD Group, with the 3 different production plants: Celsia, FILMS and Scleros, in Anzola d’Ossola
It was an opportunity to closely learn about the production processes, to open a dialogue with entrepreneurs and their collaborators, to promote understanding and awareness of the professional skills required of young people today and to facilitate the training choices and work paths of new generations.
Divided into small groups and guided by the company staff, in OMCD Group the students saw first-hand the Hard Metal and the electrical contacts of Celsia, saw collaborative robots in action and learned how automation and technology act as a common thread to the various departments, from commercial, to technical, up to the production itself.
A positive experience for everyone and the presonalized biscuits with the company logos made the visit even more enjoyable.
