Forging is a forming process in which a billet is shaped by the combined action of a hammering machine or a power hammer and a manipulator. The heads of the hammering machine or power hammer are the parts most subject to impact and wear.
For this application, where the dimensions allow it, the end part of the hammers is made of hard metal with grades that combine the characteristics of resistance to wear with those of toughness under thermal and mechanical fatigue.
Hammers
We offer hammers with upper preform and rough or ground recessed geometry.
Recommended Hard Metal Quality: K30D, K05C, L97C, L85C
